Marcio Araujo aka JACK TYPE is a musician, composer, producer & sound designer based in Portugal.

The love for music has its roots in childhood being exposed to all kinds of club music, later on a passion for heavier music styles became a part of his identity, and a deep interest in videogames and their soundtracks cemented the desire to create true hybrid music.

JACK TYPE blends sampled sounds, real instrumentation, and sound design to create the right “texture” to fit the project at hand.

Music is created following classical composition techniques as well as popular and unconventional/experimental ones with no self imposed restrictions or genre boundaries.

JACK TYPE’s vision is to merge various forms of media with music and custom made sound design, specifically tailored to enhance the final user experience.
